Joe Race founded The Allen Thomas Group in 2003. From the start it was independent, working for contractors and business owners rather than for any one insurer. The agency is headquartered in Akron, Ohio, and is licensed in 28 states.
Plumbing Insurance Group is the agency's plumbing-focused brand, built so plumbing contractors work with a licensed team that knows their trade, from service vans and water heater swaps to sewer laterals and commercial rough-ins.
